| | Reviewed by: daemonizer, Shoots in the 80s Summary: An excellent desert golf course. This club is WAY off the beaten track, about 5 miles west of Lake Pleasant. The course is very good, with excellent conditions and interesting routing through (and on) a number of desert foothills. Course is relatively "gentle" given the yardage- not a huge amount of desert carry, most landing areas are wide open. My bet is they built the course with baby boomers in mind. Many of the greens are elevated (tillinghast style) with a lot of undulation. Not easily walkable given the elevation changes. Some very cheesy water features that look out of place in the desert. Certainly among the best private courses in the valley. Customer Service: Excellent and friendly staff. They do a very hard sell about membership, somewhat surprising for Arizona. Similar Courses Played: Most private courses in Arizona. This course has a very similar layout to The Golf Club Scottsdale.
