The history and respect of this land is reflected in our championship golf course, Wolfdancer Golf Club. Named in honor of the traditional wolf dance of the Tonkawa Indians who once inhabited this area, world-renowned golf architect Arthur Hills designed Wolfdancer to take full advantage of the natural lay of the land. Discover native grasses, trees, wildflowers, even a flock of egrets as you move through the rolling prairie, heavily wooded ridgeline and the river valley plain.

Each player, no matter how skilled, will find Wolfdancer a challenging yet satisfying experience. Summary:
Wolfdancer is a first-class resort owned by Hyatt, and the golf course is the best in the Austin area. Very challenging holes, including strategic par 4's, long par 5's, and difficult par 3's. The course is not necesarily tight, but lots of hills and sand traps make the course very challenging. Not a lot of water comes into play. Virtually no housing development at the time of this review (2008). The Hyatt resort is outstanding, with a water park for kids to play in while you play this gem. Great practice range where you are serenated by old-time country singers playing through a loudspeaker.

Customer Service:
Very friendly staff.
