Reviewed by: DBK81, Shoots in the 70s Summary: Very nice course one of the best I have played in the NE. Small greens make you really work on your short game, and the final 15,16,17,18, a par 3,5,3,5 respectivly make the trip to the club house a place to really make something happen. Water comes into play on the back nine, and really puts the pressure on you to be accurate off the tee. Even though there was no Marshall on Staff, pace of play was very quick, and as a twosome with a cart we never ran up on anyone (Mid afternoon on a Saturday). Overall the Melfort Golf & Country Club is a nice little Gem on the edge of Saskatchewans prairie/Forest region, a definate must play if doing a NE, Saskatchewan golf swing. Customer Service: Everyone from the CPGA golf pro to the drink cart girl all had a smile on there face and displayed some great Saskatchewan hospitality, A fully stocked pro shop was a real suprise, some great equipment, and clothing deals to boot(Should have bought my Addidas Tour 360's there, beat Nevada Bob's by over $40). Similar Courses Played: Green Hills Golf & Country Club(Green Water Provincial Park), Nipawin Evergreen Golf Course (Nipawin, SK), Elk Ridge Golf Resort(Elk Ridge, SK)
