| | Reviewed by: Wang, Scratch Golfer Summary: Despite the crabby old man on the starter box, kudos to Charlie Maddox in the creation of this course. Charlie turns this, at what first appears to be an easy course, into a challenging and sometimes frustrating masterpeice. He makes going for the stick next to impossible with his undulating greens that angle away from the fairways. And the way he incorporates the Dupage river into the signature hole is breathtaking! A must for any avid golfer. Similar Courses Played: The Gatorade is quenching, while the mixed nuts keep your energy up. And all reasonably priced!

| | Reviewed by: Lindsey , Scratch Golfer Summary: This is a great place to go if you want a well kept course with low fees and nice employees. You are usually able to walk right on with out making a tee time. It's members only unless you are a guest of a member...if you don't already have a membership you'll have to wait a few years Customer Service: The employees all seem to get along and when you go in there you are greeted with a smile. The food is always prepared well and tastes good. Everyone is very nice. Similar Courses Played: The bathrooms were always clean when I was there including the port o potties. The food was good and the clubhouse looked clean.

The greens were also well kept Similar Courses Played: The new and improved Bathroom was very nice. The club house was nice, it was casual, no waitresses or anything like that but it was a nice place to sit back and enjoy a hot dog after playing a day of

| | Reviewed by: Gene Chamberlain, Shoots in the 80s, from Elgin, IL Summary: Wide open course with thick rough, a links type course built in the 1960s. Greens are large, usually soft and slow to putt.
There is no water except the 13th and 14th holes.
There are a few wooded spots and the 15th hole, a par-4 dogleg that is 410 is through the woods and difficult. The 16th is a short par-4 with a tricky green sloping toward the back right that fools first-time golfers. Customer Service: The clubhouse has limited, expensive concessions and only one person waiting on people. The old grouches who take greens fees are usually unpleasant. Similar Courses Played: The maintenance department has no idea that there are golfers on the course. They like to start up lawn mowers and weed whackers in the middle of players' backswings and drive tractors right in front
