    Summary:
Have played here three times. nice greens and fairways. From first time i played here, they had grass tees. i agree, packed with tee times. No ranger is a drawback. got stuck behind two foursomes that played together making a group of eight. course kept in nice shape with a very interesting water hazard on 16&17. lowered about 8 ft. with 15 ft of sand trap all the way around. saved me big once. back nine is fun with par 5, par 3, 5, 3, 5 to finish. par 5's very reachable in 2 at 397, 438, 425, and 455 from the whites. most holes are straight with a few curving both left and right. a fun, short course at 6068 from all the way back. paid $27 on weekends.

    Customer Service:
as nice as can be when being swarmed by 20 people at once

    Summary:
Was expecting the worst after reading reviews. Played on a Saturday; maybe I was lucky or they didn't sell out tee times, but we started on time, seldom had to wait, and were seldom pressed from behind. We finished in just under 4 hours. First impression was poor; they should be friendlier to customers in the clubhouse.
Greens and most fairways were in good shape, but what's with the mats for teeboxes??!! If this was a free course, maybe, but they charge real money, especially on weekends. That has to change before I could play this regularly.
Signage needs to be improved/maintained; second hole tee was impossible to find.
And they gotta find a way to sell beer. Overall, a decent course for a hack golfer like me.

Reviewed by: Paras , Shoots in the 90s, from Chicago,IL

    Summary:
First visit out to Indian Boundary...read the reviews, and yes, it is a municipal course. But, pleasantly surprised by the condition of the fairways and greens which were perfect. Roughs and greens very well demarcated. Not really any goose poop. Sand traps were well maintained, and fairways are wide open and straight on most holes. Ended up feeding a few balls to the forest preserve's thickness. Only major drawback is the lack of true tee boxes...there are mats set up with built in tees, or you can be creative and tee ahead. Weather was great, and although packed with tee times every 7-10 minutes, more courteous golfers than at Waveland GC.

    Summary:
Not the greatest of golf courses. Although that makes it a lot easier to get the tee time that you want. Hard to differentiate between the rough the fairway. Also, the goose dropping aren't very pleasent.

    Summary:
Great Fairways. Most are pretty wide. Grass is cut frequently and greens are well kept. Tee times are tough to get for early weekends. Holes are diffent and challenging. A few doglegs will keep you your 3 wood real busy. Overall it's the best Forest preserve golf course on the northside.
