| | Reviewed by: jamesll9, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I don't know, my sister and I got kicked off the premises as soon as we set foot on the place. My dad built the clubhouse after their fire in the late 50's and he was club champion, but that did not matter to the snobby staff. Customer Service: stuffed shirts with no regard for their history or tradition

| | Reviewed by: Greg Ellis, Shoots in the 80s, from Palatine, IL Summary: Inverness is a fantastic course at which you get a lot of practice with your short game. Since the course is a bit hilly and forested, it is an immense help if you can keep the ball in the fairway. Also, it helps if you take out a caddie so they can show you around the course. You cannot see most of the pins from the tee so the caddie can also tell you where to hit the ball. Finally, the back to back par 5s on the back nine are a challenge to any golfer.

| | Reviewed by: Jack , Shoots in the 80s, from Barrington, IL Summary: Course built on an excellent piece of land that proves to challenge all types of golfers. A well operated course whose landscaping contends with top tier courses. Greens are deceptive and having a caddie helps a lot. Overall great course that I would love to be invited back to. Customer Service: Friendly staff at this course. Good caddies.

| | Reviewed by: Tom, Shoot in the 70s, from Chicago Summary: Great Course; well maintained, designed and run. Greens are pretty fast and usually in excellent condition. Course design mandates control over power. Similar Courses Played: Great Lemonade!
