| | Reviewed by: Jacque, Shoot in the 70s, from Chicago Summary: Several years ago I played this family owned course and thought to myself, gee if some golf management consortium would buy this course and put some money into it it would be fantastic. Well that's exactly what happened. This course is long, tight, wet, rolling, scenic and well kept. The greens hold and roll very true. The fairways are nicely manicured although sometimes a little wet. Pace of play is good if not exceptional during the week. This is a very mature course that harkens back to plus fours and ties.
WARNING: YOU BETTER STRAIGHT OR YOU'LL NEED DOZENS OF BALLS! Customer Service: Very nice staff! Similar Courses Played: The range is nothing to get excited about. The clubhouse on the other hand is midwestern blue collar through and through. If you were looking for brandy and cordials go somewhere else because this place is fine just like it is.
