| | Reviewed by: lunaria, Shoots in the 70s Summary: Challenging course from the back tees. Need to leave the driver in the bag on many holes, just a bit too tight out there. Back 9 is about 4 shots tougher. Greens a bit on the slow side, although can be made fast when they want to. Some tee boxes not level at all, but are being rebuilt. Customer Service: Very good. Friendly, sometimes not tough enough on the slow players. Similar Courses Played: Great bar, decent snack bar. Limited pro shop with essentials.

| | Reviewed by: Shawn Wolfgram, Shoots in the 80s, from Hoffman Estates Summary: The golf course is in great shape, they are finally leveling the tee boxes which will make this course even nicer. front nine is pretty open but the back nine gets real narrow with plenty of hazards. the staff is awesome, very friendly and always eager to please. if you want to go somewhere and be treated as more than a number this is a great place to play. Customer Service: great customer service, the pro shop staff is awesome, Tom Klaas does a great job with that staff and course. Similar Courses Played: for your money the snack shop there makes some great food, also very friendly, probably the nicest ladies i've had wait on me.

| | Reviewed by: Vince Ackerman, Shoot in the 90s, from Elk Grove Village, IL Summary: The course is in excellent shape. Elk Grove takes great pride in this gem. Some holes are easy while others present some difficult challenges. The tee boxes are very good, as are the greens. #10 is a bear to open up the back side. The rangers are either too lenient or too over the top most days. They need to find a perfect medium. Similar Courses Played: None

| | Reviewed by: Sean, Shoot in the 100s, from Evanston, IL Summary: Course was in good condition. Can't complain about the tee boxes. Greens were pretty good. Nice views and good configuraton. I enjoyed the course and would certainly recommend it and will be going back. Tee times on Sunday are near impossible before 4pm. Bring plenty of balls, especially for hole #10! | | Reviewed by: Jim Dawson, Shoot in the 80s, from Elk Grove Village, IL Summary: Fox Run Golf Links is probably one of the best golf courses in the NW suburbs. The course is in great shape, greens are good, though some tee boxes are not level. It is usually easy to get a Tee Time though Saturday AM's are prohibitive. The course management always preaches their PACE Program, though many rounds this year have taken 5+ hours and I did not see a Marshall. There is usually only one refreshment cart person, but lots of H2O containers with ICE COLD H2O throughout the course. # 10 is the 2 Handicaphole, though in my opinion, it is the most difficult. Overall the course is a DANDY, but do not be in a rush, and complaints to the course manager whose name is Debbie is useless, she's over her head. Customer Service: Debbis course manager is in over her head, poor response. Similar Courses Played: Great Tuna Sandwiches, Paul Gierz, teaching professional is good
