| | Reviewed by: James Vega, Shoot in the 70s, from Chicago, IL., USA Summary: In a word, breathtaking. This is probably the best maintained course that I have ever played. I caddy at this course and get to play it for free on mondays. The course isn't painfully difficult but a lot of fun. A few short par 4's that a good drive will make the green but if you miss the green, your in for trouble. This course makes you play smart and at the same time be aggressive. As for conditions, the best counditions I have ever played and I have played them all. I play tournament golf and I have seen many good courses but none that match up to the condition of this course. At times, they triple cut the already lightning fast greens. Hitting from the tight fairway into these triple cut greens are lots of fun. If you want any other information on the condition of playability of the course, just ask Michael Jordan and Phil Mickleson whom have played the course several times. Customer Service: The maintenance persons and green keeper are very nice people. I am always felt welcomed when speaking to them. The caddy master is also a very nice guy and the caddies the same. Some of the members can take some getting use to but that is probably the case at all private courses. Similar Courses Played: The Restaurant is beautiful, small golf shop but appeals to its members. The range is it's only major flaw. The balls are 50 compression limited flight balls because the range is pretty small (about 230 yards). That doesn't stop a few people from putting the balls on Crawford av.
