| | Reviewed by: Jacque, Shoot in the 70s, from Chicago Summary: Oh how I wish I was a bazillionaire. The first thing I would do is buy this mature and underkept course. I would put in sprinklers, mainatin the creek banks and hire the best greenskeeper I could, and then sit back and watch another bazillion dollars fill my pockets.
Every summer I am invited to play in an outing at Indian Valley. Every outing I think the same thing, geez just a little work would make this one of the best courses I've ever played. The fairways are narrow and tree lined. The greens are small sometimes hard to reach and the overall architecture is rolling and scenic.
The owner of this course is, at my guesstimation, a WWII vet. You can tell upon playing there that he has pridefully tried with all of his might to maintain this unpolished diamond. Unfortunately time has beaten this track to the bone. My suggesetion is if you want a VERY inexpensive round and have the vison to dream of possibilities PLAY INDIAN VALLEY!!! Customer Service: Very, very friendly folks! Similar Courses Played: No range, putting green is a mess! There is a beautiful old clubhouse that appears not to have been used for years! The possibilities here are endless!
