| | Reviewed by: Jim Zuccarelli, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Klein Creek is an upscale course that winds its way through a housing sub division, which is one of the reasons that I don't like this course since I am fundamentally opposed to these types of courses. However, there are other reasons that I don't really care for Klein Creek:
* The course is penal to the point of annoyance, with water, sand and prairie grass EVERYWHERE.
* There are a couple of holes that are dangerously close to one another, especially the 4th green and the 5th fairway.
* The homes are a little too close for my comfort level on several holes.
What I will say in Klein Creek's defense is that the course was in very good ccondition, which is expected for an $85 greens fee (I paid $50 with a Players Pass). And there are some good holes, with #'s 2, 9, 11 & 18 standing out for me. But there are too many holes that take the driver out of your hand, and the course snakes its way through the neighborhood to the point that I swear you have near a half mile between some greens to tees. This is a course that I just don't look forward to playing, but I'll probably come back again because I always play like crap and need to have at least one good round there. Customer Service: The people were friendly and accommodating, no issues. Similar Courses Played: Prairie Landing, Seven Bridges
