| | Reviewed by: Ted Diamond, Shoot in the 80s, from Bloomington, IL Summary: Municipal course. Amazing value for a Palmer/Seay design. People are afraid of this course, so it's not as crowded as it should be. In very nice shape, with fast, undulating greens. Numerous blind tee shots, and course needs to be played more than once to be understood. Wide landing areas for tee shots. No trees, but lots of prarie grass. Don't miss the fairways. #6 has forced carry over water, but if you hit too far or too left, you can go through the fairway. Wind is a big factor on this course. Pin placements can be absolutely evil. Accuracy and good short game a must. Distance not as important. Overall, an incredible course you'll want to play more than once. Similar Courses Played: Several teaching pros who are quite good.
