| | Reviewed by: Bill, Shoot in the 80s, from Palatine,IL Summary: very good value, weekday prices especially. This is a very fun layout with a good mixture of challenging holes and birdie opportunities. Have played this course extensively and every year condition and playability improves. Greens roll true and are medium speed. Best part of layout is that there are numerous holes with a tough risk/reward choice off the tee plus a few where you can really let it fly. 7th hole especially is a killer. Off the fairway both left and right is trouble and/or out of play. 3 iron gives you wedge in but have rolled to within yards of reaching the green with a boomer drive, setting up easy birdie. Scrambles have been very well done in the past. Clubhouse is modest but whats there is nicely done. Similar Courses Played: Took lessons from Ron Nelson (if he's still there). Took my game into the 79s for the first time. Enough said.

| | Reviewed by: Paul, Shoot in the 90s, from Lisle, IL USA Summary: This golf course is in terrific shape. It drains quickly after a big rain, and the work being done (reshaping bunkers, etc) will only help speed play by improving one's ability to get around the course.
Tees are in good shape and greens roll true. This golf course has come a long way in the past few years.
Very unassuming when you pull into the parking lot, but once you are out on the course you are in for a real treat (and a test). Customer Service: First tee and pro shop in constant communication. That's nice to help clear up any questions about "who's up."
Also, this course has cleaned up what remained of a pace of play problem. rounds exceediung 4:20 are rare. Similar Courses Played: Most food is good. Range is usually in good shape. Big chipping and putting green - roll is consistent to the greens on the course.
Worth every penny.
