| | Reviewed by: James Vega, Shoot in the 100s, from Chicago Summary: Simply put, one of if not thee best course in the state. I play for the Illinois Junior Golf Association and I was invited to play this course in a tournament. The course is in perfect shape and gets limited play. Every green runs true and there is absolutely no OB. Despite all of this, it is probably one of the most difficult course in the country. The course has a 76.7 rating and plays over 7400 yards. Every year, they test the difficulty of the course by inviting the top 100 players from the Western Open to play the course. With this, the course record is only 73 (and that includes Tiger Woods). As for overall looks, It is absolutly beautiful. Three of the holes are modeled after Agusta National. If you ever have a chance to play this course, try it. You will not be disappointed. Similar Courses Played: A very large restaurant and golf shop. The range is very impressive in that instead of buckets of balls, they are pyramids.
