    Summary:
My husband and I drove an hour and a half to have a nice day of golf and get away from it all. Big mistake. We got to hole thirteen and I was having a slightly hard time with a few strokes. One of their pompous "members" took it upon himself to leave his own game, park his cart behind me, and proceed to ask me if I was "planning on replacing my divots" (which I was planning on doing until he came over, sat, and stared at me, completely distracting me and making me uncomfortable). The only reason I can even think that he would find enough interest in what I was doing two holes away, is that maybe he is one of those old fashioned types who doesn't think women belong on the golf course. This would all be slightly understandable if I couldn't look in every direction around me and see plenty of other divots (it's not that great of a course). I'm thinking the owner may want to post a sign in his clubhouse letting "members" know that other paying golfers are absolutely none of their concern.

    Customer Service:
We reported the incident and the equally pompous woman behind the counter merely laughed about the situation. We will never return and we will let all of our friends know not to bother either. Very rude!

    Summary:
Nice course. A challenge! It's tougher than I'm used to, 138 slope. The pro stated that was an old slope and that it is tougher now. I can believe it. It's in good shape over all. Bent grass on the greens make them fast, some are downright difficult which goes some for the difficulty of the course.

I have to play other easier courses more often because I need a break from the challenge this course provides.

    Customer Service:
The price is really good! They run specials and coupons on their internet site. Foursomes are $60 with cart all they can play!! $20 for individuals includes cart...again all you can play.

Reviewed by: Andrew, 5, from Peoria

    Summary:
There is a vast difference in both condition and difficulty of the front and back nine. So, I will review them separately.

    Front:

Tees: a little dissappointing and rough

Fairway: pretty good shape, the fairways and tees have been overseeded in bent grass

    Rough: Poor shape

Greens: Excellent, maybe the best in central IL, they maybe going a little bit down hill, though

Back: The back nine is young and needs a couple of years.

Tees: have improved greatly and look satisfactory

Fairway: a lot of variation in the quality of the fairways some good some poor

Rough: Satisfactory, actually probably better than the front

Greens: getting better, should be pretty good some day soon

This course has a great opportunity to be fantastic. The maintenance staff needs to work out the apparent kinks in the water system. Some places on the course we soaked and some were bone dry. One thing to remember about this course is that it was built on great terrain, but poor soil. So, this course will take addtional time to mature and live up to its potential.

    Customer Service:
    Friendly staff

    Summary:
New course. Back nine opened this year. A little rough but still a nice course for the money. $36 with cart for 18 holes. Club house to be complete in July or August. Greens are fast, hard, and true.

Must score on the front because the back nine is narrow and long, with trouble on both sides. From the back tees it would be very challenging unless you are a big & accurate hitter.

Give this course a couple years to mature and it will challenge some of the better, more expensive courses in the state.

    Customer Service:
Personnel very friendly. Almost felt like family.
