Summary:
Despite being one of the more pricey courses to play in Fort Wayne - it is a real value. The course itself is immaculately groomed, with nice rolling hills, many sand traps, lots of trees, a great amount of water and fantasticly maintained and fast greens. The club house is well stocked, the carts are electric and have GPS which is really convenient.

I have never used GPS on a golf course before and it was fantastic - you pull your cart along side of your ball and you know exactly how far you have to the hole as well as you have nice picture of the hazards up ahead and their distances as well. The system can also keep your score as well as on the 8th hole, it prompts you to order food that it is ready when you make the turn to the back nine.

The holes on this course are challenging and especially because of the water and sand, you really need to play strategic golf or risk losing several balls or shooting very high scores.

Overall, I very highly recommend this course to anyone/everyone golfing in Fort Wayne. I wouldn't even consider going to one of the public courses in leiu of this one - because for just under 40.00 (only about 10.00 more than Foster Park - the best public course) you can golf 18 holes (after 2pm on a Weekday) at one of the finest non-private courses in any area. This course in any other part of the country would cost at least 80.00 per person and in places like Myrtle Beach - is in my opinion comparable to Grand National which was a couple years ago at 120.00 per person with a cart.
