This is an old/new course mix in the Iowa Great Lakes area. Although parts of the course are in great condition, the newer holes really need some time to mature. Some greens are great and the 10 new ones are horrible. With the new holes, there is really no flow to the course - much like you are playing two very different courses, not even a front back either.
