Reviewed by: Carl Odendahl, Shoots in the 70s, from Davenport, IA USA

    Summary:
Overall a beautiful Charles Alison designed course built in the 1920's. The course is mature with oak trees lining the bent grass fairways and thick bluegrass rough. Wonderful elevation changes throughout that force shotmaking of all types. The course is always in that fantastic condition that you can only get from a mature course in the midwest.

    Customer Service:
The head golf professional is Kevin Kwak. Kevin does a wonderful job of running the golf operations and will make you feel at home even if you are a guest. I suggest you take a caddie, which are available on weekends.

New flagstone clubhouse built in 2000 is everything one could ask for in a facility. Good food and relaxing 19th hole make it a great place to sit count your winnings. The upstairs offers fine dining

Reviewed by: rob , Shoots in the 80s, from boston,ma,usa

    Summary:
I could not believe this masterpiece exists in the middle of flyover country. It is as good as most of the elite clubbs in the East. Supurb, undulating greens, well-maintained, tight fairways, two of the best par fives anywhere and three great finishing holes. Excellent!

    Customer Service:
Very friendly head pro; my host raved about him. Service personnel efficient.

    Beautiful, newer looking clubhouse.

Reviewed by: Bob Lees, Shoot in the 90s, from Bettendorf, Iowa, USA

    Summary:
Top course in the Quad-Cities and surrounding 75 mi area. 1924 vintage with mature trees throughout. Great character with smaller greens. Tight fairways. New $4.5M clubhouse in 2000. Holes 1,9,18 completely redone in 2000. 16 is the signature hole. Beautiful elevated tees. 16,17,18 are some of the best closing holes around. Well maintained. New driving range, putting green, and chipping green.

    Customer Service:
Friendly, midwestern club. Not snobby by any measure.
