Bucks Run is located on 290 acres in Mount Pleasant, which is centrally located in the heart of Michigan allowing easy access from any location. Providing an upscale daily facility with superior playing quality, service, and atmosphere, Bucks Run provides golfers an experience they will not soon forget. We are open to the public with NO league play or membership, so you can come out anytime and enjoy yourself! This award winning Jerry Matthews layout is also home to the Quarry Grill and Banquet Hall, perfect for any event. The course was formerly a sand & gravel pit that Jerry Matthews transformed into a picturesque layout that is seamlessly blended with the natural beauty of the area. The course features miles of Chippewa River Frontage coming into play on seven holes. Natural wetlands and three lakes also come into play on numerous holes. The course provides players with amazing views from countless locations and golfers of every skill level are sure to enjoy their round from one of our four sets of tees. Named the ''Best New Amenity'' by Great Lakes Golf magazine, the Putting Island at Bucks Run features an 18-hole real-grass course in the middle of a large lake. The putting course takes up over 2 acres and can be played by anyone with a putter and a ball. The nines are separated by a babbling rock creek and the holes are designed to match the championship course, complete with mounds, sand bunkers and fescues. The Putting Island will be used as an added attraction for corporate outings, and for weekend family fun.

Summary:
Without a doubt, the best course I've played. The staff work hard and go out of their way to make your experience at Bucks Run enjoyable. The course is gorgeous and well kept by a top notch grounds crew. Each hole is unique, and there are a few great risk-reward opportunities. The rangers are friendly and helpful (one actually got out to help me find my ball) and work to keep everyone on a 4'30 pace. The practice range, two putting greens, and practice bunker are as well kept as the rest of the course. There is a grill outside on the turn if you need a bite, or you can dine inside from a full menu of outstanding food. I've golfed here about a dozen or so times and will keep coming back. This is not a place for the beginning golfer by any means, but I do highly recommend this course to any avid golfer. It's a little on the pricier side, but well worth a trip or two each season.
