easily one of the top courses in the midwest if not the country. Beautiful lateout on the links and quarry courses that are breath taking. With many 100 foot bluffs over looking lake michigan as well as the 9 holes built into an old rock quarry is truely a heavenly place Customer Service:

This is by far the nicest golf course I have ever played.
The courses I have played in the last year are
1. Augusta National--- it was ok
2. Pebble Beach--- terrible shape
3. Bay Harbor GC in harbor springs. This is boring

The Bay County golf Course in Essexville michigan is my home course. The greens on this course are very well maintained as is the entire course. The grounds crew does a great job and they work hard all year long. Tim Kieberlien, the professional is very polite and everybody is really friendly here also.
