| | Reviewed by: rjcasey, Shoots in the 100s Summary: This is an excellent course that consistently rates in the top mini course in the state. It's a beautiful course and very cheap. I played 27 holes at twilight (starts at 2pm) for $11. Some very tricky lies and you have to fly a substantial pond on 17. With the fall colors today it was just beautiful. Fairways are wide and there are some good risk reward situations like hole 8 and 16. The greens were just aerated so not in the best shape and the recent rain made them very tricky. Can't complain at $.50 a hole. Customer Service: Good people. Nice friendly. Similar Courses Played: Stonebridge, Lake Forest

| | Reviewed by: Clay Ostrom, Shoot in the 80s, from Ann Arbor, MI Summary: My golf league plays here, so I know this course pretty well. For a city owned course, this place is in pretty good shape. It has a lot of holes that appear straight forward but can end up biting you if not played carefully. Front nine is particularly hilly and can offer many awkward lies. Greens would be decent but due to high amount of play they get abused (people need to learn to repair ball marks!). Tees are usually OK. The rough tends to get out of hand at times too. Overall, an excellent course for the money (maybe $14 walking 9 - weekday). Some very hilly greens.... Customer Service: see above.... Similar Courses Played: all of students work there so it's not top notch service.
