| | Reviewed by: Ken, Shoot in the 80s, from Chicago,IL Summary: This course is not very good. It is basically a glorified par 3 course with most par 4s measuring just over 300 yards. The most distressing part of the course is the fact that each tee features large trees directly in front of the teeing area. At least 3 holes had a big tree right in the middle of the fairway about 200 yards out. I hesitate to say "fairway" because there was no fairway or rough. Simply an uneven, cut-up tee box and a small, forward sloping green. Not worth the effort to play this course. Drive about 20 miles away to Rice Lake and play Turtleback. It is outstanding. Customer Service: Very nice people and cheap beer are all this course has to offer. Similar Courses Played: Clubhouse was nice...cheap beer and friendly people.

| | Reviewed by: SammyRye, Shoot in the 80s, from Ladysmith, WI USA Summary: This is an older, resort type 9-hole course. It's fairly short, but don't let that fool you. The fairways are tree lined, with small greens. Club selection and ball placement are requirements to shooting a good score. The soil is sandy, and plays well in wet conditions. Tends to get a little firm in a dry season. The greens are well maintained and in excellant condition. They're in an upgrade mode, improving the tee areas a couple at a time. Also, working on a second 9-holes. If you are playing in North Western Wisconsin, you may want to visit this course. Similar Courses Played: Small club house with full bar. Rental clubs and carts available. Not much of a pro shop.
