| | Reviewed by: Jdog268, Shoots in the 90s, from Milwaukee Summary: The course is very good to practice one's short game. The customer serice however was very bad when all I did was ask when we could go out onto the first tee. Customer Service: Very, very surly. The lady at the front desk was very angry and very loud. One of the meanest ladies on the face of the earth.

| | Reviewed by: Larry Sager, Shoot in the 90s, from Brookfield, Wisconsin, USA Summary: Warnimont Golf Course is a Milwaukee County 18-hole course located right along the Lake Michigan shoreline. In the summer, the views of the lake can be spectacular; however, it can also cause some interesting wind conditions.
All holes are par 3, averaging about 140-190 yards each. Water comes into play on the 15th and 16th holes. There are no bunkers on this course. The greens are normally well manicured and the fairways well cared for. Even on busier weekends, the wait to get on the course is normally not more then 15 minutes.
Obviously, this is a short course designed for the beginning or new golfer. The pace is slow and the people are always friendly and ready to discuss their thoughts on the game. Teaching new golfers is tolerated and expected. More experienced players will still find this course an excellent place to practice their short game.
As mentioned above, the wind off the lake can come into play on several holes. During the same round, I’ve played on holes with virtually no wind at all, while the next hole could have a 20-30 mph wind gusting in your face.
If you’re looking for a pleasant place to play, Warnimont might be just what you’re looking for.
Customer Service: All Milwaukee County course workers are very friendly. Similar Courses Played: No frills.
