    Summary:
Played the treeless Irish in August. I would not recommend playing out of season due to the winds by the lake. Bring plenty of balls, because without a forecaddie you will lose balls in the fescue that you think you have a bead on. A great course in near perfect condition but if you are going to play either the Straits course or Irish spend the extra dough and go with the Straits. Better views right on the water and possibly the best public course in the world. I'd put the Irish #3 in priority behind the Straits and the nearby River Course at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, WI. The Sheboygan, WI area is probably the #2 golf resort area in the country behind Pebble Beach.

    Customer Service:
Flawless. They are there to pamper you.

    Summary:
I had the privledge of playing the Straits and Irish Course at Whistling
Straits was amazed! The scenery is above any other course I have
played, and the service was outstanding. This course blows Pebble
Beach out of the water. Until playing Whistling Straits I was unaware
that there was a nicer course than Pebble Beach.

    Customer Service:
I thought the service at Whistling Straits was far over necessary. The majority of the wonderful atmosphere is provided because of the excellent service. is provided because

    Summary:
The River Course is definately one of the most beautiful and enjoyable courses in the country, and the Meadow is not far behind. The Irish and Whistling straits are overpriced, but both offer some great views of the Lake from several holes. These courses are definately not meant for anyone who can't play bogey golf or better. The service was spectacular five years ago, but has gone down every year. Expect prices to continue to rise with the upcoming PGA tournament. Spring for the $10 yardage book, you won't regret it.

    Summary:
I play for a private high school that is located in my area, and our coach was lucky enough to set us up in a meet against another private school who's home course in BlackWolf Run. We were able to play the Meadow Valley Course, which was in great condition. I was a Freshman at the time and shot 41, so course isn't extremely hard, but fun, alot of times you must place a tee shot in a certain area to have a shot at the green. Course is located half in a valley and half wooded, Very beautiful and breath taking coming into the clubhouse area, amazing.

    Customer Service:
Workers were amazingly nice, and wore black knickers. Pretty funny and neat.

    Similar Courses Played:
Decent Driving range with balls sitting out there, but were forced to hit of artificial grass.
