| | Reviewed by: stinkanimal, Shoots in the 100s Summary: I was in this part of town again the other day and decided to try Coronado again. Note, I have already reviewed this course but my 2nd experience was so much better that I had to give the course it's due. This time around, they must have changed the fees as cart and 9 holes was about $10.00. Not bad in my book as I love a good deal. The grass was in much better shape than when I last saw it in May. We've had a lot of rain down here and that probably played a role. The longest hole is 3 with 362 yard par 4. It curves around a trench and trees and was personally aggrivating (ok, 'challenging'). My favorite hole was 7 and 8 - not really sure why, perhaps because I played them well. The cart was in good shape. Holes on the greens looked to have been just moved and were in perfect shape. None of the greens showed any signs of disease or issue. Fast rollers. For $10, I'll be going back. Customer Service: Fantastic. Period.

| | Reviewed by: stinkanimal, Shoots in the 100s Summary: This is the "Oldest Course in Scottsdale" and it looks the part. I golfed there in May of this year and the grass was in horrible condition. The driving range was nothing but a dirt field - it didn't even appear to be in any 'transition'. The 2 folks in the clubhouse were very nice. They had all the typical drinks and a small section of supplies/equipment but nothing really fancy in the way of aesthetics for the old building. The course was fair, I liked the layout of many of the holes but still thought the grass needed more attention. Guess they can oly do so much when charging $20ish and having the Scottsdale locale. All in all, a fair course that I would certainly golf again if I had a 50% off coupon. For the price, there are better courses, newer, cleaner, on the other side of town. Customer Service: Again, nice folks.

| | Reviewed by: tipgrinder, Shoots in the 80s Summary: This 9 hole short course is the worst course I have ever played. Even though this course is very cheap to play, your still getting ripped off. The conditions are deplorable. I f you want to play a quality 9 hole course, I suggest Riverview or Rolling Hills which is a short executive course in Tempe.

| | Reviewed by: Argus Wilson, Shoots in the 90s, from Provo, Utah Summary: The $20 green fees are a great deal for such a terrific golf course location. The course is not very long and allows good players to put up some great scores. Customer Service: Okay, but nothing special. Similar Courses Played: Nice club house with a fairly small golf shop.
