    Summary:
Aurora Hills is one of the best values around. You can walk the course for about 26 dollars during the week. The course itself is a typical muni course, with a few doglegs tossed in to make it more interesting. Water hazards come in to play on the back, hole 10 is the most memorable, it is a par 5 with water down one side and a drainage ditch on the other. Three well placed irons will get you on in regulation.

    Customer Service:
Customer service is pretty good, way better than it used to be years ago.

    Summary:
Aurora Hills is a parkland course with few hazards, but some long par 4's. The first two holes wrap around the practice range, so RH slicers will donate balls into the range. Most holes only have one greenside bunker and there are no fairway bunkers. The course features five par 5's and five par 3's. The 10th hole is a par five that wraps around a lake with a canal bordering the whole left side to the hole. It's the hole most people remember, usually not fondly. They sell hats in the pro shot that have Aurora Hills logo on the front and the slogan, "The 10th is a B*tch!" embroidered on the back. Water comes into play only on the back nine, where there are 4 holes you can get wet. The 18th is a long par 4, 455 yards, usually into the wind with water down the right side. Par is a good score on this hole. Aurora Hills is usually in very good condition. During the drought the last couple of years, Aurora Hills course held up the best of the Aurora courses. The greens are fun to putt. The practice area is not the best. The range closes much earlier than other courses. The putting green is nice, but there is no real chipping green. They have a couple of little faux greens you can chip to, which is better than nothing. There is no real area to practice sand shots either. They have a crappy little hole with sand, but it's not real bunker conditions. Again, better than nothing, but could be much better. The fees are some of the best in the state. $30 with cart, $20 to walk.

    Customer Service:
    Satisfactory.

    Summary:
This course is a "typical public course".
The course is in o.k. shape. The greens and never bad. This is a good course for the eager beginner. It is always crowded so expect to play slow.
