| | Reviewed by: Wendy Smith, Shoots in the 80s, from Portland, OR Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed playing this golf course. The course is in its fourth year of operation and has gained a well deserved reputation for its layout, fabulous course conditioning and wonderful customer service. I felt so welcome - the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a great time. They hand mow their greens seven days a week and they are beautiful! The golf course has several holes alongside the Boise River and the whole setting is beautiful with lots of water and several species of birds of prey frequently visible. The first seven holes are good, but starting with hole number 8 through 18 - things get very interesting - it's a fabulous combination of great scenery and great challenge ending with a reachable par five (if you're very brave or very dumb) and the final surprise is the excellent food and atmosphere in the spacious clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole. I highly recommend this facility. Customer Service: Above & beyond by the golf shop, restaurant and marshalls - seemed more like a high end resort than a place where you were only paying $40 to play. Similar Courses Played: Restaurant was excellent - Full service bar, snack bar and fine dining.
