Summary:
A fun little country course that, coupled with the usually windy conditions, can offer challenges to all skill levels. 5 of the 9 holes have very large trees that come into play, and a few holes require big drives and good long iron play. Its called the Airport Club because, you guessed it, #2's and #3's fairways run along the town runway. Watching the crop dusters take off and land is a good diversion. Most of the greens are very difficult to hold because they are steeply crowned, making them "smaller" than they look. The fairways and first cut of rough are very well kept, while the "buffalo rough" outside these will punish errant drives and is a nightmare to play from. The green and tee boxes are also nice, but do start to show some scars later in the season from the mid-week hack leagues that run all summer. The flatness of this course can get a bit boring, but overall a nice little place for a laid-back 18. Course closes for leagues on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and can get crowded on weekends.
