| | Reviewed by: Daryl, Shoot in the 80s, from Mission Viejo Ca Summary: This is by far the best course on Lake Tahoe. The price on this review is wrong though, this course is upper echelon, it was 175.00 last summer. But if you can afford it, this course is so well worth it. Everything about it is first class. The clubhouse is beautiful and right on the shoreline. The shape of the course has always been beyond terrific, you could mow the fairways and putt on them. I have played some high end courses in my time, this is by far my favorite. It offers up a pretty good challenge even with the altitude. Some holes are wide open, on the front nine, but most are tree lined. There is water and a lot of great bunkering. #'s six thru nine are beautiful holes and can be seen from the road. But the best stretch is 16, 17 and 18. 17 is a par five around a tree and down towards the lake. The view at the crown is beautiful. 17 is a par 3 right on the sand of Lake Tahoe. When the afternoon tahoe breezes are blowing, you have to play the ball over Lake Tahoe to hit the green and 18, Par Five and reachable, you just have to beware of lake fronting the green and the huge lake to the right, tahoe Similar Courses Played: Everything is first class
