| | Reviewed by: David K, Shoots in the 90s, from Albuquerque Summary: As the previous reviewer mentioned, this course is very difficult for people who shoot in the 90s (like me). In fact, last time out I didn't shoot in the 90s on this course, posting snowmen on three holes, one of them a par 3. I live nearby, but avoid UNM South (as locally known), preferring the less exasperating courses in the area. Hitting greens is not enough, since balls can find slopes on the green to throw or roll them off. Once on the green, you're putting on a surface the shape of a potato chip. Rough is dense and sticky, and fairways tend to place the ball above or below your feet -- unless you're good enough to hit the right spots. If you're in the area and are one of those that are good enough (or a masochist), you should try this course out. Customer Service: Easy-going, yet professional. Similar Courses Played: Driving range is downhill, which throws distances off, and the practice green was much slower (last time I was there) than the greens on the course. Also, range balls are beat up more than a "champion

| | Reviewed by: J.P., Shoot in the 90s, from Albuquerque, NM, USA Summary: Beautiful, difficult course. This is one of NM top 5 courses, and the only one in Albuquerque. If you are a UNM student, the fee is resonable $18, if you are not it is $60, not a very good price for a NM course, in the city. The couse is very challenging for all players, and proves to be frustrating for players who shoot 90's or higher. The course is always kept in great condition, with short cut fairways, and nice greens. The greens are challenging to read, and there are a number of blind shots. The coures is very hilly, with trees, and desert terrain. plan on losing a few balls. Similar Courses Played: None
