| | Reviewed by: Mike , Shoots in the 90s, from Newark, DE Summary: Having worked at deerfield golf club, I can say that this course is in immaculate condition. The employees work 110% to make sure that every thing is perfect. The greens are extremely fast, the fairways are in great shape, and the bunkers are filled with loose white sand. (from being hand-raked every morning) This is definately one of the best kept courses in the area. Customer Service: Outstanding.

| | Reviewed by: Rick Holsten, Shoot in the 80s, from Wilmington, DE, USA Summary: Played on a weekday morning. There was very little wait. Played with a MBNA employee. The starter was helpful and very courteous. Mr. Bunch the club manager concern that full service to players was available. The course was marvelous. The new sprinkler system was working well for all the fairways and greens were lush, cut and rolled. I was thoroughly impressed. Watch out for the fairways. They slant, ungulate and rarely give you a flat lie..Oh well... such is golf. The greens were fast the bunkers filled with loose white sand. The course was immaculate. The one hole I felt was the least maintained was hole # 10. But this hole was the hardest. I cant wait for someone to review the 15th fairway (I think it was #15). Its a par four about 400 yards, but the fairway fall approximately 75 feet from left to right. I hit a draw, well left on the hill and still ended up 2 feet inside the rough on the right side..Whew... The locker room was beautiful. I had to go to work right after my golf and afforded myself the use of their shower. The people were most accomodating. I cant wait to play this course again. Green fee and cart $47. Customer Service: The hospitallity was wonderful... Thanks greatly to Frank Bunch. Similar Courses Played: None
