| | Reviewed by: Dave Harris, Shoots in the 90s, from Ridgefield, CT Summary: Played once with my son in summer 2001 and both enjoyed the course - best in the area for interest and value. Lots of opportunities to think about your shots, as trouble looms on many holes. Customer Service: Fine Similar Courses Played: Will go back this year.

| | Reviewed by: benjilew23, Shoots in the 80s, from Dublin, OH Summary: This is my home course so this might be skewed a little bit... Taking into consideration the lack of options in the area, the conditions, the layout and the staff this is a great place. It is not long (only 6300 from the blue), but don't be fooled. This isn't a place where you can just bomb away from the tee and then recover from the rough with a sand wedge. For example, number 1 is a short par four (350 yds), straight-away with a pond sitting at about 200 yards with a 260 yard drive to carry. So unless you are consistently hitting it 270 or better off of the tee you are laying up to about 190 and you still have 160 yards to a green with two bunkers surrounded by trees. I pull out driver about 3 times on the front nine and 4 times on the back. Some might not like that, but I find it an interesting challenge. If you hate not being able to hit driver, they are lengthening 2 and 3 by about 25 yards and 50 yards respectively with plans in the next two years to blow out #10 by another 110 yards making it a nice 410 yd par 4. Similar Courses Played: Nothing else in the area that I've played.

| | Reviewed by: Darren , Shoots in the 80s Summary: This course is greatly improved since adding a back 9. Most holes consist of narrow fairways lined with pines making it a very unforgiving track.
Many of the new back nine holes offer mid-range golfers a challenege with 90 degree dog legs and OB hazards abounding.
Overall, the course is a great value and a nice addition to a weekend trip to Maine.
