    Summary:
Played Goose River on Monday, June 8th, 2009. Believe the course would have been challenging enough even if I wasn't a high handicapper. Almost every hole has at least one brook cutting across the fairway, which forces a lay-up-or-go-for-it decision. When you combine this with a consistent (I have heard) & brisk breeze, blind corners off the tee, hilly terrain, shaggy and, in places, 'swampy' rough, and sloping greens, you have the recipe for a challenging and fun round of golf.

I would have enjoyed playing a second nine to see how the off-set tees played for each hole.

The deck at the back of the club house was a nice spot to enjoy a couple of beers after the round.

    Customer Service:
    Very friendly/welcoming staff.

    Summary:
9 hole course with different set of tees for front 9 and back nine so plays different the 2nd time around. Very good condition and several nice holes. Is hilly and that can create some tough walking, but not too bad. Great view and one of the great tee shots from the 18th tee!
