| | Reviewed by: Jake , Shoots in the 90s, from Washington Summary: Nice vacation course. Holes #5, #7, #1 are two-tiered difficult greens. Otherwise, a short straight forward little course. Pleasant way to spend an afternoon on the Island. If you play more than 18, it is a great value.

| | Reviewed by: Matthew, Shoot in the 90s, from Boston, MA, USA Summary: This course, set on Chebeague island in Maine, is a historical course dating back to 1920. Built around a charming Inn beside the Atlantic ocean, it is a short 9 hole course that will quench your golf thirst during your stay on Great Chebeague.
Short holes with links-style hazards, Chebeague is a quaint course with straightforward holes.
There is one challenging par 3 uphill hole guarded front and right by the atlantic ocean, and to the left by tall brush and a steep slope. Tee off from a quay, and hope you clear the water! Wicked green is steeply sloped, and double tiered - don't be short on this hole! A precise stroke will result in a birdie, and a miss will cost a double bogey...
This course does not make Chebeague Island a golf destination, but treats players to a very pleasant stroll in a serene setting. Relax and enjoy a round! Customer Service: Very courteous service, tee times by appointment. Similar Courses Played: Pro Shop with rentals, cafeteria in pleasant clubhouse.
