Additional Info:
Baltimore County''s newest world-class golf venue. Since its opening in July 1998, The Woodlands has impressed the best. The greens, tees and fairways are all bentgrass, providing the best possible playing surfaces. The greens are some of the most unique in the Baltimore / Washington region. Large and undulating, each green presents its own set of challenges. Most have several distinct areas that golfers must aim for. Think Augusta National without the extreme speed. The Woodlands is designed by Lindsay Ervin, architect of in-state favorites and award winners themselves, Hog Neck and Queenstown Harbor Golf Links.

Summary:
A well maintained course. Has a few drainage issues but repairs have been made. Tees and greens always lush and greens roll true. When I went, they were taking out parts of the fairway to use as sod on another hole but that will have minimal impact if any. If playing in the morning, hole #4 will be playing directly into the sun so be prepared to be blinded when trying to find the ball. Otherwise, the price I feel is worth it.

Customer Service:
Starter polite. Snack bar after 9th hole was closed in the morning (maybe was a little too early)

Similar Courses Played:
Diamond ridge is the sister course on property. Good value to play there too.
