Southers Marsh Golf Club is a public executive-style golf course that plays like a championship layout. Voted Plymouth''s Best Golf Course in 2003, 2004, and 2005, players get the golf, course conditions, and service expected at a resort course without the corporate feel, lengthy time commitment, or expense.
Opened in July 2001, Southers Marsh was built on the beautiful upland around the Stearns family''s 100 year old producing cranberry bogs, as a way to keep the space open and in the family. Pouring their hearts and souls into the course on a daily basis, the Stearns'' and their co-workers take great pride in making sure that everyone who comes to Southers Marsh has an enjoyable experience.
The seven par 4''s and eleven par 3''s will force you to use every club in your bag. Even the most accomplished golfers will be challenged, but four sets of tees ensure that golfers of all abilities will be able to enjoy themselves. Above all, Southers Marsh features a relaxed, fun-oriented atmosphere where everyone always enjoys themselves.

Directions to Course

From Route 3N: Take exit 6 and turn left onto Route 44 west. Go under Route 3 and at the second set of lights turn left onto Pilgrim Hill Rd. Turn right at light onto Federal Furnace Rd. Travel 4.1 Miles. Southers Marsh Lane and SMGC will be on your left.
From Route 3S: Take exit 6b and merge onto Route 44 west. At the second set of lights turn left onto Pilgrim Hill Rd. Turn right at light onto Federal Furnace Rd. Travel 4.1 Miles. Southers Marsh Lane and SMGC will be on your left.
From Rt. 495: Take exit 2 and head north on Route 58. Travel 6.9 miles, continuing straight on Tremont Street where Route 58 turns left. Tremont Street becomes Federal Furnace Road at the Carver/Plymouth town line. Southers Marsh Lane and SMGC will be on your right.

Do yourself a favor & play this executive course. I never play executive courses but this is an exception. The par 4's are regulation distance. The par 3's are regulation distance. The design, layout, condition & scenery are spectacular! Every hole is challenging & the greens are super FAST. Fairways are lush. Every hole is surrounded by cranberry bogs so you better be accurate. It is a GREAT TEST for your irons & putting. You can't beat the low green fees too. Customer Service:
