Additional Info:
Red Tail Golf club is a combination of a great design, unique layout, and multiple combinations. From the 5004 yard blues to the 7000+ yard black tees, this course has something for everyone. Many of the holes are very unique for New England having almost an Arizona or California course feel.

| | Reviewed by: smitha8, Shoots in the 100s Summary: I'm having a hard time believing the reviews already posted. This course was highly recommended to me by several golfers and it greatly exceeded my expectations. This course has more character than practically any other course I have played. The course was well maintained, the greens were super fast and the staff was extremely professional and polite. My only complaint was that my cart was one of the slowest I have ridden in... Customer Service: Outstanding (perhaps because I didn't whine about the greens fees) Similar Courses Played: Similar courses: Blackstone national, Belgrade lakes, Eastman Golf Links. My usual courses: Sagamore Spring, Trull Brook

| | Reviewed by: eletson, Shoots in the 90s Summary: I have to say, I spent 95 bucks to play this supposed great course and I was thoroughly dissapointed. Fact is, this course is 50 miles from nowhere and the cost for playing this course seems a bit stratospheric compared to other course in the area that are less expensive and offer better customer service, better yardages, and a better overall golf experience. A bit about the course itself. Playing from the Blues this course has a nice layout, it is fair and offers the golfer a variety of club options. The greens are moderatley fast on some, but have no real character, nor do they have any consistency. One green may be like putting on cement and the other may be like velcro. The practice area is a shining example and offers free range balls with your fee price but the putting practice area is fairly lame and offers very little room to practice with more than 15 of so golfers there. Customer Service: The customer service at this course simply is awful. I complained about the 95 dollar greens fees and the kid behind the couter said, hey, we have to pay for our new clubhouse don't we. The rangers we no help either, although the starter was pleasant. One ranger said, hey, this is Red Tail when we explanined that the sand traps were pathetic at best. Similar Courses Played: I have played some of the World's best course from Pebble Beach to Granite Links and while there fees are high, they make up for it is attentive service, GPS, and other little things that make the experience fun.

| | Reviewed by: Maynard, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I love what this course could become. I hope that they can just put it all together. The young course really needs time for the greens to harden and the crew should be keeping these greens cut closer. The tee boxes and fairways have been good, however, many of the easier driving holes are dug up at the 250 to 270 mark, repair mix in the carts would make a big difference. I love the back 9 many of the holes make me feel like I am playing a West Coast course. The biggest problem that I experienced is the price per round given how slow play is. If there is really that much traffic to slow play, the price is unsubstantiated. Customer Service: Customer service was OK at best. Rangers, with the right attitude, could make a big difference here both in speed of play and overall experience. Similar Courses Played: Crumpin Fox is a better value and has a less frustrating rate of play. Cyprian Keyes is nice and has a wonderful staff and an excellent clubhouse.
