| | Reviewed by: mike b, Shoot in the 90s, from framingham Summary: I wanted to be very impressed by this course, but ultimately, I was not. Even though it is private, it will remain public until membership is full. From their website, it looked like a terrific course. It IS a beautiful LOOKING course, with a challenging layout that I was pleased to play. It will be a long time before I part with money to play it again.
My primary complaint is that the fairways were awfully hard, so the ball ran and ran, frequently into the rough or worse! Sometimes our shots ended well away from where expected. My foursome probably burned through a dozen+ balls and we typically don't lose more than 2 or 3 collectively.
Taking a divot from such hard fairways was nothing short of painful.
Given some TLC from the grounds crew, I have no doubt this course will be excellent, but by then it will be private and I won't be able to play it again! The crew appeared to be on top of things, so we attributed the conditions to new construction. Customer Service: The staff was very helpful and professional. I anticipate that future service will be as good as you will find anywhere in greater Boston. Similar Courses Played: None
