    Summary:
best deal in town! thousands less than other private courses. always in good shape.very unforgiving place to play but it makes you a better golfer. greens roll about a 9 all year give or take a month. do NOT look for many flat lies cause there are about 5 on the course. been a member for five years and plan on enjoying many more to come.

Reviewed by: Ron Scott, Shoot in the 80s, from Peabody MA USA

    Summary:
Private club in pristine condition. Over last 2 years new greenskeeper and crew have elevated course to exceptional quality greens and fairways. For mid-range handicappers playing the course the first time, it becomes a most humbling experience. Narrow fairways, fast greens, plenty of hazards, and out-of bounds markers require exceptional ball control and club selection. Long-ball hitters are not necessarily rewarded as fairways are not the traditional flat that gives exra roll. To the contrary, balls not played to the course often end up in the rough, OB, or in lies that restrict second shots. Bunkers have just been re-engineered. Majority of fairways are unto themselves bordered by woods or private residences. This is a course that a golfer will never tire of and presents a challenge each time the ball is struck. You either keep the ball in play or you suffer the consequences.
