| | Reviewed by: wmmiller, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Originally a nine-hole course, it has now expanded to 18 holes, but not necessarily for the better. First of all, unless you are in the best shape of your life, do not plan on walking this course as it runs straight up the mountain. Once at the top, however, you are rewarded with the most spectacular views of the Berkshires; short of being in an airplane. Skyline does indeed live up to its name. The nine original holes are very playable with wide fairways and generous greens. The 'new' nine holes are tucked into the woods and are very tight with many blind shots, in addition to being unusually short, both par 4s and 5s, with smaller greens. A shot that strays even slightly is in deep trouble. Rates are reasonable. The course conditions are generally good, especially on the original nine. Customer Service: Small pro shop, small restaurant. Putting green and practice area (Although on the driving range you are hitting straight uphill.)
