Reviewed by: spikedog2, Shoots in the 80s, from MA

    Summary:
Played the course Early May 2003,

Played the Blue tees on the front nine, Took 2 hours to get off, payed $17,
Layout is nice, Very scenic, and was lush grass due to the recent rain. They told us an hour wait then when we got there that they had leagues and had to wait longer. (to be expected) Pace of play was very slow. Waited on almost every tee. No Ranger to speed play.
All and all a good experience,

    Customer Service:
weak, Guy on phone told us one hour and took 2 hours,

Reviewed by: Peter Strauss, Shoots in the 90s, from Oakland CA

    Summary:
I played this course as a young man, in the 50's, before the "new" 128 chopped it up. It was a lovely course then, especially the back 9.
It is a shadow of its former self. The maintenance of the course is marginal; the only worse course I've been on is the West course at City Park in New Orleans. I wouldn't go back, not even for the nostalgia. Been there, did that, don't have to do it again. It's a shame. I used to love it. Sigh. Those days are gone forever.
