    Summary:
I've played John Parker quite a bit since 1998 and the improvement in the last few years is emense. The fairways, tees and greens are all well kept now. The rough is...well rough. Great course for a novice, wide fairways, good variety and forgiving. Started off in 19 shooting 100's here now I can hit in the 70's. Great price too.

    Customer Service:
    Always friendly.

Driving range off grass! Nice putting green with actual cups. Beer, diner food.

    Summary:
I golfed this course a few times this summer and let me tell you all something--the John F. Parker Municipal golf course is a little piece of heaven in southeast Massachusetts. From the gorgeous Par 4 #1 to the thinking man's Par 3 #9, this course has it all--except for a back nine and enough water hazards and well managed bunkers and accurate tee markers. However, greens fees are modest, so if you want a good course to hone on which to hone your skills, this is the place--of course, don't go to JFP too often; I hate crowds, especially crowds of extremely overbearing golfers, who should be permanently consigned to miniature golf courses, on which they can boss around 2 year olds so as to render themselves supremely content.

    Fair---- WAY! HAHAHAHAHAHHA

The driving range was ok. However, its being situated in the immediate vicinity of the course caused quite a few range balls to end up on the course.

    Summary:
J.F. Parker G.C. has been under a serious reclaimation program the past five years. The greens are some of the best in SE Mass public or private. The fairways are wide but the ruff is tough if you stray. The fairways are established now and give a true lie for your second or third shot. Most greens are well bunkered. A value and a true test for your money.

    Customer Service:
Everyone I spoke with was helpful and friendly.

I had a sandwich at the club house and it was priced reasonable and tasted fine. The club house as clean and well maintained.

Reviewed by: Dave Oliveira, Shoot in the 80s, from Dighton, Ma , USA

    Summary:
The course was in poor shape. The fairways were very hacked up and the yardage markers were off. The tees were too small for the number of people who play the cource and were in poor shape. None of the traps were smooth and many had weeds growing in them. As for the greens, you better chip it close to the pin because they are as slow as i have ever played. I also can not give the cource much credit for the leaves. There were leaves everywhere and more than one time I lost my ball.

    Customer Service:
The staff was unpleasent and did not know the least bit about golf.

    Similar Courses Played:
Small proshop. Bad food at the bar. No teaching professional on location. The range is natural grass and in good shape.
