    Summary:
I'd second John from Belmont's review on the Highlands -- tough greens, fairways wide open. Some people claim to shoot in the 80s there, but their scores climb well into the 3 digits when they can't stop chunking their drives. That makes things more interesting.

    Customer Service:
Couldn''t be more helpful if they tried.

    Summary:
I play here every summer during vacation I really enjoy the course. It's wide enough to hit driver but the greens are fast. There is lots of scrub grass which gives it a link feel.

    Customer Service:
The pro shop people are nice but the starters and ranger are jerks. A bunch of cranky old guys with attitude problems.

    Very nice facility.

Reviewed by: John, Shoot in the 80s, from Belmont

    Summary:
The Highlands is generally wide open and no water comes into play. It's only 6,000 yards from the whites but the greens are treacherous. They are fair but undulating and get faster the hotter it gets. In general, the course is in good condition considering the amount of play it gets. It's sister course, Dennis Pines (about 4 miles away) is at least 6 strokes harder than Highlands.

    Customer Service:
Automatic tee time system. Friendly enough folks.

    Similar Courses Played:
People rave about the all-grass range, but I think it's a bust since you hit into a gully and can't see how far you are hitting your wedges.
