| | Reviewed by: wmmiller, Shoots in the 80s Summary: The Cranwell Resort and Golf Club is also a golf "school" in the Berkshires with extensive practice facilities and instruction. The course itself is challenging in several areas. The back nine is wooded and can get you in trouble. There is no water, some elevation changes and a moderate number of bunkers. The "Cranwell Curse" as the locals call it are the greens. They are very well maintained but at least 6 of them are so severely sloped that three-putts (and sometime four-putts)are the standard. Some spectacular views are about here. As a resort, it is very pricey for out-of-towners. Customer Service: Small Pro Shop, very nice restaurant right next door. There is a starter.
