| | Reviewed by: Matthew Paige, Shoots in the 90s, from Norwell, MA Summary: I played the course Memorial Day weekend of 2002. The original 18 holes of Bayberry Golf Course is a great layout. However, the town of Yarmouth now terms the course a 27 hole layout. The additional 9 holes, beyond the original 18, consist of a links course that was built on the landfill. When you call to book a reservation, you cannot specify the original 18 holes. The course randomly matches you with 18 holes. The day I played, I started on the links 9 holes and then played the front 9 of the original course. The problem is the two layouts are completely different. Also, they don't provide you with the appropriate slope or rating for the various combinations. Therefore, if you keep a handicap, as I do, that is a problem. The links course has NO trees, an is sandwiched between an industrial area and route 6. As a result, it is noisy. It is also windy. I did not care for the links course at all. I will not play Bayberry again unless I can play the original 18 holes. Customer Service: no comment Similar Courses Played: no comment

| | Reviewed by: Bob D'Ambrose, Shoot in the 80s, from Yarmouthport, MA USA Summary: Keep an eye on this course. Perhaps the best designed course on the Cape. Tees from ladies to 7100+ yards. Big greens, beautiful doglegs, fairly trapped, No O.B. One water hole. The greens are being over-hauled with new "finger drains" at this time (4/01) When these greens reach their improved state, look for this course to be listed as one of the top 25 in the U.S., REALLY. Great Restaurant, clubhouse, well-maintained, fair prices. Similar Courses Played: None
