    Summary:
Course was in just about as good of condition it could be in considering monsoons we have been getting. This is not a good course for a beginner. Fairways are very narrow, but the rough is not very thick and managable. I agree they do need to trim back branches that hang over the fairway on many holes. Overall this is a decent public course and a good value.

    Summary:
Just played Rancocas... No one has written a review in a long time.. I was amazed at the condition the golf course is currently in, EXCELLENT. I have played the course every once in awhile over the past 25 years and at times it was a cow pasture. Money has been spent, this course is now a gem. Bunkers, green, fairways just in GREAT condition. RObert Trent Jones design. Play it!

    Summary:
I agree with much of what was said by previous reviewers except I won't be as generous. It is a top shelf public course, no doubt, but the front nine layed out a bit too close. This course could be much better if a golf landscaper
would trim back the trees and brush, especially on the back nine. It is one thing to have a tight nine, but the vegetation is intrusive onto the fairway. A bit pricey, but right for the quality of golf offered by the course and staff.

    Customer Service:
Professional and courteous proshop, starter and grounds personel. Top notch for a public course.

    Similar Courses Played:
Similar to Pennsauken and White Oaks in quality and course except for the tight back nine.

    Summary:
Isn't one of the better layouts that I've played. Fairways run too close to each other. There is a driving range between holes 1 and 9. The balls end up in the fairways of 1 and 9 from the driving range. Signs were missing, but could use score card for yardage.

    Summary:
I wouldn't say it's the best public course in SJ, but it is probably in the top 10-15. It was very well maintained when I was there. The staff was great, and the pace of play was pretty good. If there was one down side, it was the neighbors. A couple had some pretty loud music playing. Obviously not golfers! Well worth driving a few extra miles for this one. And the history of the designer doesn't hurt.

    Customer Service:
    OK.
