| | Reviewed by: igolfalot, Shoots in the 90s Summary: I play the East and West both quite often. East is short and more open. West has tighter fairways and plays a little longer. Play on either is always sloooowwww on weekends. We actually had a group playing best ball in front of us on a Sunday morning. If that was you USE A LITTLE COMMON SENSE!!!! I have never seen a Ranger on the course trying to speed up play, I'm sure that would solve the 5-6 hour round problems. Both courses are in a little above average shape. There are a few holes with water on each side. The greens are fairly large and not over protected with bunkers so good golfers should be able to score low here. Customer Service: Everyone is always friendly. There is always cold beer in the clubhouse afterwards. Now we just need the hot dog girl at the turn sell beer. Similar Courses Played: All courses in Monmouth and Middlesex county.

| | Reviewed by: metfan9, Shoots in the 90s Summary: I played at the West Course for the first time and I liked it. Tees, fairways, and greens are all in great condition. Customer Service: Not very friendly service. The people at the counter gave us a break by charging us a little less but he was reluctant and not too friendly about it. Starter isnt too friendly either. Similar Courses Played: 2 putting greens, mats driving range.

| | Reviewed by: Ben Dover, Shoots in the 80s Summary: 36 hole County course that receives a LOT of play. What makes it worse is they allow two golf association clubs to play on weekends! Bad news unless you like playing after 12 @ a 5.5 hr pace. Otherwise, both are nice courses with not much of a challenge. The Par4, 18th on the WEST course is harder than the PAR5's. Customer Service: Cashiers are very friendly.
Starters have an idea and Rangers make use of their free golf carts-hence a minimum 5.5 hr round. Similar Courses Played: 2 practice greens, with one allowed for chipping.

| | Reviewed by: Mike , Shoot in the 100s, from South River, NJ Summary: This was the first course I ever played on and it got me hooked on the game. The greens and the fairways were very nice. Some water on the West course added some strategy. Lots of trees put a premium on accuracy. Similar Courses Played: Staff is not overly friendly. I tried to get on as a walk on during a weekday afternoon and the guy looked at me like I had 3 heads. He barked about a 20 minute wait. The wait was actually no more than 5 minutes. I don't expect quality customer service, but a certain level of respect to other people is just the plain decent thing to do.

| | Reviewed by: Robert Hayes, Shoot in the 90s, from Highland PK Summary: East:
Too many holes are the same, trick holes with water in the fairway, slow play, bad golfers. I think I do not like this course. - Play Rutgers instead. Similar Courses Played: None
