| | Reviewed by: Prospy, Shoots in the 90s Summary: A good resort course, but I was expecting something a little more demanding. Flat, dogleg left, dogleg right, only the par 3 over water was interesting. Well kept, but kind of a yawner.

| | Reviewed by: 3putt, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Played in January 2007 on an overcast cold day and enjoyed the experience. Challenging greens to read and everything is well maintained. Customer Service: No rangers, but none were needed as there were few of us golfing. No cart girl in January. Proshop personel were courteous and helpful. Nice facilities. | | Reviewed by: BigLouie214, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Blue Heron Pines is a great course. The greens and fairways are in great condition. The tall grass is very hard to get out of if you get in. Thats makes for a challenging day of golf. Large bunkers and waste areas contribute to a challenging yet fun day of golf. The clubhouse has a full proshop with excellect prices and excellect service throughout the whole course is great. Customer Service: Great. Friendly and great on course services.

| | Reviewed by: Charlie Adaysh, Shoot in the 80s, from San Jose, Ca. Summary: I played the West course on a Wednesday, the weather was warm and humid and very little wind, ideal golfing conditions (except for the humidity). The layout is relatively uninteresting with very little elevation changes. The greens were in very good condition and the fairways that weren’t being worked on were as well. The biggest drawback is their fescue grass which is all over the place, very thick and a ball rolling off the first cut is lost forever. I rarely lose golf balls and stay very close to the fairway when I stray, but that day I lost 7 of them. They were also aerating several of the fairways that day which didn’t help things. We golfers should insist on a discount whenever the course is being aerated, sanded or have temporary greens, they are not in their best condition. One reviewer hit the nail on the head concerning jockeying for tips, the staff made me feel uncomfortable. Similar Courses Played: Driving range has nice targets and was in good shape. Club house is nice but not fantastic. Pretty expensive for a weekday.
