| | Reviewed by: irishlitvak, Shoots in the 100s Summary: very hilly course and an excellent change of pace from flat boring courses. if you are from Union County and not using the county card to play the three UC courses, you are missing out. GHGC also has a single nine thats great for twilight golf. if its hot, you will need a cart unless you are part goat, but thats half the fun: the elevation. old school clubhouse to have a beer, which is slated to be renovated to hold NJGA. support your local courses or they might go away. Customer Service: not bad. if peeps are moving slow, call for a ranger. Similar Courses Played: other union, essex and ocean county courses.

| | Reviewed by: brandon, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Decent layout, lots of elevated greens. Tends to get crowded on weekends and lots of beginner golfers with the extra nine. Fairways and tee boxes get very chewed up.

| | Reviewed by: center51, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I always find myself coming back to this course. It is a great place to get your game back into shape. The people are very nice and there aren't many hackers out there. Most of the time, I go very early by myself and wind up with a good person to play with. On price and you can play the whole day. Customer Service: Good

| | Reviewed by: FA , Shoots in the 90s, from Union Summary: A very nice course. Let's hope they keep it that way and not fall back into the old habits before the renovation. Each week there seems to be asthetic improvements such as white fences, new cart paths, etc.... Greens are much better this yr. Customer Service: Very friendly staff. Similar Courses Played: Clubhouse facilities are very old but they serve the purpose.

| | Reviewed by: DeeJay, Shoots in the 90s, from Nutley, NJ Summary: I loved this course. The shame is, it could be better. Some of the holes are really terrific, challenging and pretty. Teeing off 75 feet above or below a green with a big dog right or left is common. Others seem to just be thrown out there to round out 18 holes. More positives than negatives though. Customer Service: Friendly folks, not much going on in the tiny clubhouse.
