| | Reviewed by: CheeseSlice, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Played Apple Greens for first time this past weekend. 7:04am tee time(!) and folks already lining up to tee-off. Course was nicely maintained, although greens were a smidge shaggy (to de-stress the grass in the hot weather we've been having). Undulating greens make for some challenging putts, so hitting the greens in regulation provides a needed score buffer. Otherwise, the course isn't particularly challenging from the whites, even for a hack like me. Quite a few water hazzards, but the pesky apple trees were more of a threat. The round was a little pricey I thought and for that reason only, I won't be rushing back to play on a Saturday. Glad I tried it though. Customer Service: Generally very friendly (for NY). Marshals were rarely out of view for long and did a good job of keeping things moving.

| | Reviewed by: KChaissan, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Excellent golf course situated minutes from the Thruway, but secluded enough that there is not much besides apple orchards and a few houses surrounding it. From the white tees, the first 18 measures around 6200 yards, and the new 9 holes that just opened 5/15 is about 3050 yards. This is a very nice course, but can be challenging with a few poor tee shots and/or inconsistent iron play. Apple trees come into play on nearly every hole and can be quite pesky in many situations. Water can also be a problem on 4 or 5 holes. Overall this course is in excellent condition and a real joy to play any time of the year. It is also one of the first to open and last to close in this area, which is a real treat.

| | Reviewed by: Peter, Shoot in the 70s, from Rockland Cty Summary: Well maintained jewel of a course located in a working apple orchard with panoramic views of the surrounding Catskill Mountain Range. It's reasonable daily fee cost belies the well thought out layout, which plays easily from the white tees and is a real challenge from the back. Customer Service: Very friendly. Similar Courses Played: Good restaurant for sandwiches (call from ninth tee).
